SAVANNAH, GA (June 9, 2016) – Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department Southside Precinct detectives are asking the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of a theft that occurred June 2 in the 12000 block of Abercorn Street.
The suspect walked into Southside car dealership, stole unattended purses from two female employees, and then went to a nearby department store where he made more than $1,400 in illegal purchases on stolen credit cards.
The white male suspect was wearing khaki pants, a dark-colored hat, and a white button-down shirt at the time of the theft.
