SAVANNAH, GA (January 12, 2017): The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Robbery Unit seeks to identify a suspect in an armed robbery on Saturday, Dec. 31 at a store, on the 3000 block of Ogeechee Road.
Metro responded to the store at approximately 7:04 p.m. after reports of an armed robbery. The suspect reportedly entered the building, pointing a gun at store employees and demanding cash. Employees complied with the suspect’s demands. The suspect fled in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a black male standing between 5 feet 8 and 5 feet 9 with a slim build. During the incident he wore a red hooded jacket, a partial red face covering, faded blue jeans and red shoes.
