SAVANNAH, GA (August 29, 2015): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department ask the public’s help in locating an 87-year-old man missing from his home since this afternoon.
Carey Eugene Ellzey suffers from memory loss. He was last seen at his Spalding Road residence at approximately 4 p.m. He was wearing a green and yellow knit shirt with red plaid pajama pants.
Ellzey is believed to be driving a gray 1999 standard cab Chevrolet Silverado with GA license plate PGC2811. The vehicle is slightly damaged on the passenger side.
Ellzey responds to the name Gene. He is described as a white male standing 5-8 and weighing 165. He is mostly bald and has brown eyes. He frequents the Tibet Bowling Alley, Andy’s Lawn Mower Repair on Ogeechee Road and the Golden Age Center in Windsor Forest. Ellzey may also be en route to South Carolina.
Anyone with information on Ellzey’s location should call 911 immediately.
