UPDATE: Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police arrested Anthony Fleming on Monday near Whitaker and Huntington street. He is charged with aggravated assault.


SAVANNAH, GA (October 10, 2015): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes detectives obtained an aggravated assault warrant on Saturday for the arrest of Anthony Fleming, 56, sought for a cutting that injured a man on the 1300 block of West Bay Street last Friday.

Friday, at about 6:19 p.m., Metro responded to the scene to find Anthony Mouzon, 56, with lacerations sustained during a fight with a male suspect believed to be Fleming. Mouzon was transported by ambulance to Memorial University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Fleming is described as a black male, possibly wearing a white and black hat and blue shirt during the incident. The suspect may have fled on a blue bicycle.

Investigators believe the victim and suspect are acquainted and may have had a dispute over money.
