SAVANNAH, GA (January 20, 2016): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s robbery unit arrested a Savannah man Jan. 19 in Frazier Homes for possession of a controlled substance and theft by receiving stolen property.
Eddie Sellers, 31, asked the victim for a ride from the 4000 block of Ogeechee Road to Frazier homes. Because the victim had been drinking, he allowed Sellers to drive his car. While en route to Frazier Homes, Sellers assaulted the victim, made him exit the vehicle and fled with the automobile.
Metro officers spotted Sellers entering Frazier Homes with the stolen vehicle, where he was subsequently arrested.
The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Memorial University Medical Center.
