UPDATE: Rakeem Reynolds turned himself in Monday at the Chatham County Detention Center, where Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police investigators served warrants for aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Reynolds faces additional charges by Brunswick Police.

SAVANNAH, GA (February 7, 2016): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes detectives have identified and obtained warrants for the arrest of Rakeem Reynolds, 23, suspected in a Dec. 6 shooting on the 2200 block of Mason Drive, that injured Antravius Vinson, 18. Reynolds also is wanted by Brunswick Police Department for a separate shooting and armed robbery in January.
SCMPD charges Reynolds with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Reynolds also faces additional charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime by Brunswick Police.
At about 5 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 7, Metro’s SWAT team, in conjunction with Brunswick PD, attempted to arrest Reynolds during a warrant service at his residence on the 1900 block of East 63rd Street in Savannah. Reynolds was not present. Three firearms linked to Reynolds were recovered during the search of the residence.
Metro investigators are working to determine whether Reynolds is linked to other crimes in Savannah. He is believed to frequent areas from Brunswick to Savannah.
Reynolds is described a black male with a dark complexion, standing about 5-8 and weighing roughly 165. He wears dreadlocks.
