SAVANNAH, GA (December 13, 2015): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes detectives are investigating a shooting reported on Sunday morning that injured Rahmine Ashley, 34.

At about 12:37 a.m. Metro responded to Candler Hospital, where Ashley arrived in a privately owned vehicle seeking care of a non-life-threatening wound.

Ashley was reportedly shot during an armed robbery near Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Broughton Street. No evidence of a shooting was found at that location. Detectives also followed leads to Fahm and Zubley streets in Yamacraw Village. Investigators are working to determine where the incident occurred.
