SAVANNAH, GA (February 12, 2015): Metro traffic officers are investigating a two-vehicle crash that left both seeking drivers for medical treatment Thursday.
Chrystal Wilson, 30, of a West 54th Street address and Leroy Johnson, 61, of Garden City were transported to Memorial University Medical Center after the 4:51 p.m. crash.
Wilson was the driver of a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT traveling east on Stuyvesant Street that failed to stop at Liberty Parkway. Johnson was driving a 2004 Dodge Stratus southbound on Liberty Parkway when the two collided. The Explorer rolled once and came to rest in a ditch on the east side of Liberty Parkway.
Wilson possibly could have serious injuries. Johnson’s injuries were not considered life-threatening.
The Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) of the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department continue to investigate.
