SAVANNAH, GA ( June 2, 2011) June is Adopt a shelter cat month. The ASPCA estimates that more than four million cats and kittens enter animal shelters nationwide each year. This month The Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department’s Animal Control is waiving their adoption fee.
Spring has brought in several litters of kittens. They all need good homes. The adoption fee has been waived, the kittens and cats have been inoculated and the cost of the shots is the only cost associated with the adoption. If you have been thinking about bring home a new best friend, this is the month to do It!
