SAVANNAH, GA (December 17, 2015): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes detectives are investigating two reports of shootings on the 100 block of Lewis Drive on Wednesday night.

Just before 9 p.m. Metro responded to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where Jacorey Baker, 18, and Davris Jones, 24, arrived in two privately owned vehicles, reportedly seeking care of gunshot wounds. Baker’s gunshot wound was non-life-threatening. Jones’ injuries also were non-life-threatening, but are inconsistent with a bullet wound as reported.

The events leading up to these injuries remain under investigation. Detectives are working to confirm the identities of any possible suspects. This investigation continues.
