SAVANNAH, GA (April 2, 2012): A 43-year-old homeless man has been charged with arson and murder after setting a fire that killed another homeless man this morning.
Cornelius Aaron Johnson IV was charged this afternoon after the fire in a vacant, boarded up duplex at 610-612 West 48th Street just after midnight.
The body of Gregory Glenmore Harding, 31, was found in the font bedroom of the apartment. An autopsy to determine the cause of death is to be conducted Tuesday.
Neighbors had called in the alarm and told police that the house may have had occupants, even though the windows and doors were boarded up and electric service had been disconnected.

The fire did extensive damage to Unit 612.
