SAVANNAH, GA (May 9, 2013): FBI agents and Robbery detectives from the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department are searching for a man who attempted to rob a bank today, but then left without money.
The black male in his 40s or 50s entered the SunTrust Bank branch at Abercorn and 41st streets about 2:45 p.m. and handed a teller a note. When the teller announced that a robbery was taking place, the suspect retrieved the note and left, taking no money with him.
The suspect is about 5-10, 200 pounds with a dark complexion. He was wearing a blue hat, dark shirt with a pattern on the front, jeans and white shoes.
