SAVANNAH, GA (January 2, 2013): Metro robbery detectives are hoping members of the public can help identify the men who beat one employee while robbing a convenience store Dec. 22.
Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police detectives released a video showing the masked robbers in the store and a second showing the car they used in an effort to identify them. The gray Honda CRV the men were using was found shortly after by responding Island Precinct patrol officers responding to the call.
Four black males in dark clothing walked into the Ashkar Food Market in the 5400 block of LaRoche Avenue about 8 p.m. and ordered the four employees to the floor.
The men ordered the employees to give them money from the store and beat one man with a gun when he did not move quickly enough. He was treated at a hospital for his injuries.
