SAVANNAH,GA ( May 8, 2012) One man remains in an intensive care unit but two other motorcyclists escaped serious injury Monday night when the motorcycles they were riding collided with a car.
Derek Roman, 21, was listed in serious condition at Memorial University Medical Center after the 8:47 p.m. crash at Fort Argyle Road and Industry Drive.
His brother, Christopher Roman, 23, and a passenger on his motorcycle, Jeffery Taylor, 24, of Ellabell, were transported to area hospitals for treatment of road rash and released.
The two brothers were headed west on Fort Argyle Road at a high rate of speed when their motorcycles collided with a black Infiniti I-35 driven by Krishan Gandhi, 23, of Pooler. Both motorcycles struck the side of the Infiniti.
Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) continues to investigate.
