SAVANNAH, GA (March 12, 2015): The public is being asked to help Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police in their search for a 78-year-old man last seen riding a bicycle Wednesday.
Earnest Fields of the 600 block of East 32nd Street is a black male, about 6-foot-0, 200 pounds and has no mental or physical issues, but family members report it is unusual for him to disappear.
He was last seen wearing a brown, long-sleeved shirt and green pants. He may be riding a blue bicycle with a rack on its front and a taped seat.
He was last seen about 2 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Bolton and Paulsen streets which he usually frequents.
Fields is the second missing man of that age to be reported missing in two days. Metro Police also are searching for Issac Cuttary, also 78, who was last seen at a Rose Of Sharon senior living facility on Taylor Street about 2 p.m. Monday. The two disappearances do not appear to be related.
Anyone with information on the location of either man is asked to call Emergency 911.
