SAVANNAH, GA (October 31, 2010): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police have charged two women with aggravated assault with intent to rob after they forced their way into the residence of a 77-year-old man at gunpoint Saturday afternoon.
Bianca Roshan Barber, 28, and Lonnica Ja Meese Hunter, 24, were arrested in a nearby apartment shortly after Francisco Lopez of the 200 block of Carolan Street reported they knocked on his door, pointed a gun at him and forced their way into his residence. They left with nothing after searching for money.
Star Cpl. Sean Wilson and Officer Yasmin Williams of the Downtown Precinct and K-9 Officer Will Fernandez and K-9 Faust located the women in the Clearview Apartments two blocks away. The women were charged after being interviewed at Police Headquarters.
