SAVANNAH, GA (December 3, 2015): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes detectives are investigating a domestic shooting in east Savannah that resulted in two deaths on Thursday morning.
Just before 9 a.m. Metro responded to a reported shooting outside of an apartment building on the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. Responding officers found Johnee’ Williams, 19, with a gunshot wound. Williams died at the scene.
Investigators learned that Williams and her ex-boyfriend, Malique Francis, 20, engaged in a verbal altercation in the apartment building’s parking lot. During the altercation, Francis reportedly shot Williams, then fled on foot.
