Release At Will
SAVANNAH, GA (December 20, 2010): Two 16-year-olds are being charged as adults in Friday’s shooting of a 25-year-old Savannah man during a robbery in West Lake Apartments.
Raheem Frazier and Forest Crawford have been charged with aggravated assault and armed robbery after they were arrested at the apartment complex.
Quinn Lee Conner remained in critical condition in Memorial University Medical Center where he was taken after the shooting Friday morning.
He was in his car in the apartment complex parking lot when two armed males approached him and demanded money. After he complied with that request, he was ordered out of the car, which he resisted, and he was shot.
The suspects ran from the area and were located in one of the apartments soon thereafter. In the apartment, police recovered an item stolen from the victim and a firearm that had been reported stolen.
At the time of the arrest, Crawford was wearing an ankle monitor issued by the Department of Juvenile Justice. Frazier was on active probation.
